CUA: (central user administration)

Pre Requisites’

Here we are defining two Systems 1) central system (000).

2) Child System. (001)

Step1: creating users(SU01)

Step2: define the logical system(SALE&BD54)

Step3: define RFC connections(SM59)

Step4: define model view(SCUA)

1)Creating users:

Creating users in central system & child system.

i)In central system:

In central system we need to create two users like

1) Central parent

2) Central child (central system itself a child system)

Central parent

1)login sap r/3(000&SAP*&PASS)

2)execute su01 transaction code

3)give the user name:CUA_ADM_000

4)user type: communication user(logon tab)

Note: the password for central system user & child system user must be
same

5) go to Roles tab enter predefined roles those are

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CENTRAL

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CENTRAL_EDIST

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CENTRAL_EXTERN

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_ CENTRAL

6) go to profile tab enter SAP_ALL,SAP_NEW.

7)save

Central child

1)login sap r/3(000&SAP*&PASS)

2)execute su01 transaction code

3)give the user name:CUA_CHILD_000

4)user type: communication user(logon tab)

Note: the password for central system user & child system user must be
same

5) go to Roles tab enter predefined roles those are

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT_BATCH

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT_RFC

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_ CLIENT

6) go to profile tab enter SAP_ALL,SAP_NEW.

7)save
ii) In child system.

1)login sap r/3(001&SAP*&PASS)

2)execute su01 transaction code

3)give the user name:CUA_CHILD_001

4)user type: communication user(logon tab)

Note: the password for central system user & child system user must be
same

5) go to Roles tab enter predefined roles those are

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT_BATCH

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT_RFC

SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_ CLIENT

6) go to profile tab enter SAP_ALL,SAP_NEW.

7)save

2)Define Logical System:

Create two logical systems for clients 000&001 using transaction code
SALE

Assign these logical systems to clients 000&001 using SALE

Naming convention for logical system

<Sid>clnt<client-number>

Ex:PRDCLNT800
3) Define RFC connections (SM59):
We need three RFC destinations

i)parent to parent

ii)parent to child

iii)child to parent

I)parent to child:

1)logon to central system(000)

2)execute the sm59

3)select ABAP connections and click on create button

4)give RFC name as 000 logical system name

Ex:PRDCLNT000

5)give short description

6)go to Technical settings tab, give host name

7)go to logon&security tab,

Client:000

User:CUA_CHILD_001

Password:***********

8)save it

9)test the connection in two ways

Go to utilities menu under test connection test & Authorization test.

I)child to parent:

1)logon to central system(001)

2)execute the sm59

3)select ABAP connections and click on create button

4)give RFC name as 001 logical system name

Ex:PRDCLNT001

5)give short description

6)go to Technical settings tab, give host name

7)go to logon&security tab,

Client:000

User:CUA_ADM_000

Password:***********

8)save it

9)test the connection in two ways

Go to utilities menu under test connection test & Authorization test

parent to parent:

1)logon to central system(000)

2)execute the sm59

3)select ABAP connections and click on create button

4)give RFC name as 000 logical system name

Ex:PRDCLNT000

5)give short description

6)go to Technical settings tab, give host name

7)go to logon&security tab,

Client:000

User:CUA_CHILD_000

Password:***********

8)save it

9)test the connection in two ways

Go to utilities menu under test connection test & Authorization test

4) Define model view (SCUA):

1) logon to central system client (000)

2)execute the transaction SCUA.

3)Enter model view name as CUAREMOTE.

4)CLICK ON CREATE BUTTON

5)by default sending system become parent sytem client’s logical system
name.

6)in child systems field, enter child system client’s logical system name

7)save it.
