Dhwity is a curious 7th grade student who has benefited from Agastya's hands-on, practical approach to teaching science. Through activities and experiments, she now understands concepts like air having mass and hot air expanding that were difficult to grasp from textbooks alone. By explaining scientific principles behind topics like eclipses, Dhwity has helped dispel myths and superstitions among others. She has won prizes at Agastya science fairs for projects like a kaleidoscope and groundwater pump made from waste materials. Dhwity aspires to become an inventor who can help people by creating useful innovations.

She says when she first attended Agastya sessions, she did not know how to do a practical session and she was very scared to accustom to the new pattern of teaching. However, with the help of Agastya instructors, she now finds the activity based learning more comfortable than the text book learning. Dhwity says that the subjects should be taught with practical angle to them in the classroom. Science and social science are the subjects that can be taught like that and she likes Agastya instructors as they teach the same way. Topics like air having mass and hot air expanding to volume are some topics she understood with the practical explanation. She says that with this understanding, she can now explain the same to others as well. She says that if we understand the science there would be no scope for myths and superstitions. When she explained eclipse topic to people, they understood the scientific reasoning behind it and they now don’t see them with superstitious belief. She says that she is very happy in learning and implementing science in real life. She says science is applicable everywhere and we just have the eyes and inclination to look for them. She also says that she participated in science fair conducted by Agastya twice, and both the times, she won the first prize. She is very proud and happy to do it. She made kaleidoscope once and ground water pump out of waste materials another time. Aspiration: Dhwity wants to become a scientist and invent new things when she becomes old. She says that inventing new things is her passion and with her passion she wants to help people around her to simplify their lives. Agastya is helping her in understanding the subject and learning how to make things out of scratch to discover new things. She is very thankful for that.
