- Greeting: The whole class! - Greeting the teacher


How are you today?
- Tell the whole class that
they are going to hear a
song about some items on
the bus.
- Show the song (without
lyrics) on the TV screen and
ask questions to make sure
the students understand the
main of the song “the wheel
on the bus”.
-Have sts listen to the song
“The wheel on the bus” - Listen carefully
once

- Use pictures to teach some


vocabulary: bus, wheel,
hooter, conductor, fare and
wiper.
- Show the pictures and ask - Answer the questions
ss: “What is this?”
- Have sts listen the
vocabulary under each
picture.
- Ask the whole class to - Read the vocabulary
read aloud the vocabulary
under each picture (twice).
- Have sts repeat the
vocabulary in whole class,
half class, small group and
individual.
-Have sts play “Slap the
board” to check the
vocabulary.
- Instruction: - Listen the rules carefully
+Teacher writes down
vocabulary on the board
(bus, wheel, hooter,…)
+Divides the class into two
teams (Apple and Banana).
Each team will have one
member standing in front of
class, face to face with
class.
+When T says Vietnamese,
Ss turn around and throw
the ball on the board in
English word. Who is faster
will be winner and get one
point.
+Which teams score more
point will be given presents.

song: read the sentences of
the song line by line.
