Office of the Registrar UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, LAHORE No. Univ/Reg/P5/300 Dated:10-09-2021 Notification In pursuance of directions of National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) vide notification dated 09.09.2021 and in cantiwation of UET notification No. UnivReg/PS/296 dated (04.09.2021, the university wil remain closed til 15.09.2021. On campus academic activites lke classes, labs, exams etc. will remain suspended during this dosur. However, the classes of all undergraduate programs will commence from Monday 13" September 2021 under Online-cum-Distance Learning (ODL) mode of teaching til 17° September 2021. Further schedule of classes will be announced on 16" ‘September 2021 according to decision ofthe NCOC meeting to be held on 15° September 2021. Similarty, the schedule of postgraduate classes (weekend/morning/evening) for Fall-2021 will also be announced on 164 September 2021 according to decison of the NCOC meeting to be held on 15" September 2021. ‘The essential staff wil continue to perform their duties as given below: Administrative Offices: Minimum / skeleton staff may be called by the respective Heads for providing urgent and essential services. Health Clinic: One Doctor with 1-2 paramedic / supporting staf wil perform duty ‘on rotation basis in two shits to deal emergency and repeat medicine / referral cases. However, the routine OPD will remain suspended during the closure. ‘Computer Cell: One official will remain on duty on rotation basis for continuous internet service availabilty Security Staff: Security staf (Including University Staff & Cempany Staff) will perform ther duties as per routine duty roaster. Janitorial and Gardening Staff: Janitorial and Gardening staff (including University Staff & Company Staff) will perform their duties as per routine duty roaster. ‘The final exams of Summer Semester to be held from 13th September 2021 will be re-scheduled w.e-f. 20th September 2021, ‘The skeleton staff on duty will observe all necessary precautionary / preventing measures against outbreak of Coronavirus.
