Elements of Plan Methodology
1. Preparations Introductory Actvity and/ or Formative Assessment
Introductory (After all the preliminary activities)
Activity Look at your surroundings, you will see that most
things are made up of lines. Lines create visual
movements.
Formative Activity 1 (The teacher distributes the samples of
Assessment unfinished drawings, individual student has his/her
own sample)

Concept: Lines can form a design or drawing.

Instruction: Draw or add different kinds of lines to


complete the drawing.)

(This activity can be done in 5 minutes) The teacher


inspects the works of the students to assess their
performance. The teacher may call 1 – 3 students to
show their finished drawing to the class. This will be
followed a short commentary by the other students
and the teacher.

Activity A Guessing game.
Formative The teacher draws on the board the different types of

The teacher may call 1 representative from each

Analysis The teacher present the shape of the foolowing items:

2.Presentation Abstraction and/or Formative Assessment


Abstraction The teacher will discuss the different kinds of lines
and their proper mesning and name.

This can be done by showing some illustrations posted


on the board.
Formative On the other side of the board are names of lines
Assessment without drawing of lines for the students to
guess/identify.

(The purpose of this activity to measure the mastery


of the students in identifying the names of the lines)
3.Practice Application and/ or Formative Assessment
Application Activity 2 – draw a picture on a bond paper using the
differdent kinds of lines. Color it with your crayons
and give an appropriate title to your drawing.

Formative The teacher will ask a representative from each group


Assessment to present his/her drawing to the class and to describe
his/her drawing while other students listen
3. Assessment Assessment
Instructions:
1. Listen to the music played by the teacher.
2. Spread enough cooked corn starch in a sheet
of cartolina and drop several water color.
3. Use finger/s to draw lines based from your
feelings, while listening to the music. Make
designs in accordance to the melody of the
music. Let it dry.
4. Explain your work to the class.

1. Choose your favorite dance music.


2. Draw lines in accordance to your
interpretation of the dance and music.
3. Use a short bond paper for your drawing.

Activity 4 – “Singing Lines”


The Teacher shows to the class various drawings using
the diffferent types of lines, and asks the students to
copy them on the notebook.
Instructions:
1. There are eight drawing here. Hum and follow
the lines in the drawings using your crayons.
2. Explain your works next meeting.
