The line follower robot is an automated vehicle that follows a visual line embedded on the
surface. This visual line is a path on which the line follower robot runs. Generally, it uses
a black line on a white surface, or you can adjust it as a white line on a black surface.

Application : These robots can be used as automated equipment carriers in


industries replacing traditional conveyor belts.

2. Obstacle avoider

Obstacle avoidance robot is designed to allow a robot to navigate in an unknown


environment by avoiding collisions. Obstacle avoiding robot senses obstacles in the
path, avoids it and resumes its running.

Applications : Obstacle avoiding robots can be used in almost all mobile robot
navigation systems. They can be used for household work like automatic vacuum
cleaning.

3. Li-fi transmission

LiFi is a Visible Light Communications system transmitting wireless internet


communications at very high speeds. The technology makes a LED light bulb emit
pulses of light that are undetectable to the human eye and within those emitted
pulses, data can travel to and from receivers. Then, the receivers collect information
and interpret the transmitted data. This is conceptually similar to decoding Morse
code but in a much faster rate

Applications : Eventually, WiFi will not be able to keep up with the demand of
data.Lifi will replace Wifi in the future.

4. Wall solving robot/micromouse

12.A suspension bridge consists of two cables with a number of suspenders which support the
roadway. To reduce bending moment in the tower, anchor cables are provided. By trial assume
suitable dimensions for a pedestrian crossing suspension bridge and do the analysis procedure. (Pen
and paper calculation is sufficient).

space, reclamation area, bed rooms and other facilities. Take reference from British colonial style of
architecture. Use any of the available 2D or 3D software for designing.
