Answer Script For Online ICT (Student Id 1876024)
Guidance Notes
DO NOT use the work of another student - this includes students from previous years and
other institutions, as well as current students on the module.
DO NOT make your work available or leave insecure, for other students to view or use.
Further guidance can be found in the SCEN Academic Skills Resource and UoH Academic
Integrity Resource module in Brightspace.
DO NOT write your name anywhere in the script. Only write your student
number in the header as the script will be marked anonymously. Do not alter
anything else in the header. Also write the information about the module in the
box provided above.
You MUST use the MS WORD equation editor (click Insert > Equation) to
type in the equations. Where this is not practical (in case of special
characters) you may write them by hand. Where diagrams, sketches and
charts etc. are required you may use MS WORD or any graphics package you
are familiar with or draw them by hand.
All hand drawn or written elements (equations, graphs etc) should be scanned
or photographed (captured) and imported as an image into your word document
in the appropriate place. Your student number must be hand written in the top
right hand corner of each scanned sheet you include.
Image file sizes can be limited at the point of taking by setting the resolution
suitably; 500-750KB file size is acceptable. Image size can also be controlled in

Word via “format picture tool” and use the “compress picture” option at 150ppi
(web use). The same result can be had for the whole document when saving:
save as, tools, image compression, 150ppi (web use). After saving your work,
open it again to ensure the formatting has not lost.
The Brightspace file size upload limit is 40MB, this should allow between 50-
80 captured images and this should be sufficient.
After you have finished, save this document as PDF for submission.
