I. Introduction
Title: An investigation into the reason why student don’t like studying history in
X High School
1. Rationale:
Nowadays, there are some subjects that students don't like English, chemistry,
biology and especially history. The percent of student don’t like studying increases
and this percentage will increase in the coming years.
The aim of this study is to understand the reason why the student don’t like
studying history.
Research question
1. What is the importance of learning history?
2. What are the common reasons why students don't like history?
3. What attitudes do students have in history class?

III. Methodology
This study aims at finding out the reason why the student don’t like studying
history at X high school. Therefore, two following questions will be answer as
research findings.
For the purposes of research, survey is used as a research method to achieve the
objectives. The qualitative survey is of phenomenological type, so it can approach
the behavior and feelings of high school students X. A survey consisting of a
predefined set of questions was given as a sample. Sample selected from 10th to
12th in high school X
2. Participants
We would like the project to be open to all students in the X high school from 10th
to 12th, a total school population of 500 students.
3. Sampling procedure

The sample group will be requested to complete an online questionnaire consisting
of approximately 10 questions which should take approximately 5 minutes to
complete. The online questionnaire includes:
We will choose the suite time for all students such as break time during subjects or
when student go to home. We will explain the reason of this survey before
delivering the questionnaires to students. We will instruct them to answer the items
depending on their case.
