RE: Bylaw Amendment for submission to the State Central Committee on September 18, 2021

THE RULES AND BYLAWS COMMITTEE MOVES THAT THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT
BE MADE TO THE NEVADA STATE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CHARTER AND BYLAWS:

Revise  ARTICLE III. Section 1. Bylaw A to read as follows: (new language is in bold)

i. The SCC shall have all the powers and carry out all the duties delegated to it by the
Convention under the Charter. In addition to formulating and disseminating
statements of party policy, the SCC is the sole Party organization authorized to
collect and disburse funds in the name of the Nevada State Democratic Party.
 Coordinated campaigns, PACs/SuperPACs, and other such organizations and
groups, are not exempt from this rule. The SCC provides the funds, staff and
other assistance necessary for the operations of its committees. 
ii. Any Democrat not authorized by the Nevada State Democratic Party who
engages in collecting and disbursing funds in the name of, or under the
purported authority of, the Nevada State Democratic Party, shall be declared
by the Executive Committee to be a member not in good standing and is
subject to removal from any or all positions held within the Nevada State
Democratic Party, or any subordinate organization.
iii. Any organization chartered by the Nevada State Democratic Party that
engages in collecting and disbursing funds in the name of, or under the
purported authority of, the Nevada State Democratic Party, without
authorization of the Nevada State Democratic Party, shall have its charter
revoked.
