  Year  10  Fine  Art
During  year  10,  Art  students  will  start  their  IGCSE  through  the  investigation  and  exploration  of  the  work  of  others.  F rom  this  exploration,  ideas  and  themes
will  be  generated  that  will  provide  focus  for  a  series  of  experiments,  delivered  through  skill  workshops.  Throughout  these  lessons,  students  will  b e  introduced
to  the  Edexcel  Assessment  Objectives  and  Criteria,  and  how  their  work  relates  to  this.  This  will  gradually  lead  into  outcomes  and  extensions  that  have  more
constraints  (as  the  exam  would  have)  until  eventually  they  are  working  within  exam  boundaries  in  preparation  for  their  mock  exam  in  year  11.

In  year  11,  the  Fine  Art  and  Graphic  Design  course  run  side  by  side.  Year  11  is  a  chance  for  students  to  refine  both  their  practical  and  analytical  skills.  By  this
