HCC’s MISSION STATEMENT
1 Holistic character formation and strong faith in God
2 High sense of civic-mindedness and nationalism
3 Effective and innovative instruction, research, production and extension.
The Holy Cross College BS Civil Engineering Program aims to produce engineers who are able to attain the 1 2 3
following Program Educational Objectives within three to five years after graduation:
1. Competent Civil Engineering professionals, applying technical managerial skills for planning, research,
design, construction, operation or maintenance of the built environment and other infrastructures.
2. Registered Civil Engineers committed to an active program of life-long learning, including studies leading to
professional advanced degree in civil engineering that provides for continued development of technical
abilities and management skills, and attainment of professional expertise.
3. Experienced engineers involved to the local, national and global issues related to the development and
applications of Civil Engineering standards and the impact of these issues that allow them to be a service-
