“Biyaheng Barkada”

By: AB Communication Students

The “Biyaheng Barkada” is a short Filipino film where a group of AB


communication student, directed by Cloe Lacanilao and Joshua Dizon and written by
Ralph Galang and Ian Ocampo. This short film catches the attention of all group of
friends who have been through and experiencing this kind of situation. The “Biyaheng
Barkada was a very remarkable film to the youth, which make the viewers gaining more
attention and interest of it, this film talks about experiences and how the journey may go
through of friendships, where everyone of us can relate. This film must give a hundred
percent thumbs up because the flow of the story was amazing and they have an
imaginative mind on how they go over on this film.

This short film revolves about a group of friends that has been deeply rooted in
the beauty and pain of friendships. There were group of friends namely Einnor, Lard,
Ann, John and Isaac. In this short film Isaac shares his experience and journey with his
friends and telling how their friendship goes through on this journey of their lives. Isaac
shows how their friendship grows and how they meet each other as a family in times of
bad and good moments. Isaac tells that the most important thing in friendship is making
memories that you won’t never forget in your entire life, even though they are far from
each other still, their friendship will always be remain and it will never be change, the
memories will always be put in their heart and mind forever.

The “Biyaheng Barkada really catches the attention of all the viewers because
there has an impact and interaction between the viewer and into the short film. I could
say that there is no permanent in our life, someone will leave and someone will stay, but
all we can do is to appreciate those memories that has been left and understanding
people because of its own responsibility.
