CALCULATION
OF
SCBD LOT 10
2. BMU TRACK
2.1 H-Beam
2.2 Welding
2.3 Bolt
2.4 Base plate
It is proposed to install 1 building maintenance unit (BMU) on top roof level of the building.
This calculation presents the bolt calculation, when the BMU is upright it would be fixed on
top of the twin track with base plate underneath which are fixed to the plate.
The resulting loading is transfer to the track, bolted to the base plate steel, then to the I-Beam
support.
