Relevance of Studying History Relating to my Course

History is always known as the study of the past. It makes the most of our
present today. Past events let us discover everything that causes our advancement
now. The proper understanding of history also makes us understand how things
work way back then and using that information to improve our way of living today.
For example, understanding how society acts in the past provides us everything we
need to correct our mistakes.

One of the relevance of studying history relating to my course, Bachelor of

Science in Accountancy, is that history makes me curious about what economic
status they had in the past. It makes me think about how can they solve their
economic dilemma even they were not privileged of having advanced technology
like we had today. That's why analyzing history gives me learning about the
struggles our ancestors overcome to get the knowledge and information we possess
today. In addition, all of the past events help us to understand more about our
world. And if you want to learn about something you should always commence
with the very beginning of it. And as I was pursuing Accounting, I know I won't be
able to complete my study without acknowledging the history of accounting. And
now because of studying history, I know who is the founder of accounting, Luca
Pacioli. He is the person who published the detailed material on the double-entry
system of accounting, debit, and credit.

Accounting exists because of our history. Present exists because of our

history. And the future will exist because of our history. For me, most of the things
we are using and learning today exist because of history. History lets us appreciate
all the things our ancestors achieved that became the foundation of our nation
today.
