TEAMWORK IN HEALTHCARE
In the video, the teamwork in health care has not achieved good cooperation. There is a lot of
insufficient information and communication, especially regarding conflicts in hospitals.
Lack of teamwork and initiative increases negative gossip and lower morale.
Inefficiencies of rapid staff turnover and a decline in reputation and even legal costs and in
today's conflict-affected healthcare environment are seen more as the expected dynamics of
the workplace and even a catalyst for personal and team development if handled properly
personally do not think that any relationship or organizations can expect to be successful
without data resolving conflicts effectively.
The first logical step in resolving a conflict to identify the problem and its source is not always
easy as there can be many variable factors but generally three factors:
1. Communication factor
2. structural factors
3. Personal factors
Some say health care is about interpersonal communication therefore diagnosis and
management communication factors that can lead to conflict include poor listening skills.
Therefore, cooperation in the health care team is very important, if the team is not united then
what will be the fate of the patients being treated? The first thing that must be implemented is
effective communication between the teams so that they are established. Good
communication, then therapeutic communication must also be applied in the cooperation of
the patient care team.
