Santiago de Pupuja District


Santiago de Pupuja District is one of fifteen districts of the
province Azángaro in Peru.[1] Santiago de Pupuja
District
Ethnic groups Country Peru
Region Puno
The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Province Azángaro
Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of
Capital Santiago de Pupuja
the population (94.87%) learnt to speak in childhood, 4.69% of the
residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Government
