$144,515 in 2021.
Roosevelt County went from $280,755 in 2020
to $335,728 in 2021; and Daniels County went from
$9,699 to $20,248 in 2021, a 108.8 percent increase.
27 of Montana’s 56 counties experienced year-to-
year increases exceeding 100 percent from 4th quarter
2020 to 4th quarter 2021. Another nine counties were
over 90 percent but under 100 percent.
The largest gain percentage-wise was Liberty
County (Chester as county seat), going from $2,200 in
FY 2020 4th quarter to $7,369 in FY 2021 4th quarter.
The runner-up was Madison County (Virginia City),
expanding from $24,003 in 2020 to $68,812 in 2021, a
186.7 percent increase.
