A very good afternoon to everyone, I hope all of u are healthy and safe.
I am Mukul Joshi and I take this opportunity to discuss about the
selection process of TCS LTD.
 ABOUT THE COMPANY:
*Tata Consultancy Services LTD is an Indian multinational information
technology services and consulting company headquartered in
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
*It is a subsidiary of the Tata group and operates in 149 locations across
46 countries .TATA group was founded in 1868 by Jamsetji Tata as
trading company.
*NATARAJAN CHANDRASEKARAN was elevated as the chairman of
TCS.
*TCS is the second largest Indian co. by market capitalisation .TCS is
now placed among the most valuable IT Services brands worldwide and
it is the world’s largest IT services provider.
*It’s a IT Giant company with more than 4.5 l employees working and it
has been reported that More than 70% of Dividends of TATA group
were generated by TCS alone.
Now let’s move to our main topic…..SELECTION PROCESS:
*In case of job recruitment, selection is the process to choose potential
working persons for a company for a company or organization. A right
selection may increase the overall performance of a company and a
wrong one may lead to material and financial loss. From 2018 TCS has
changed its selection process which is known as TCS NINJA HIRING
PROCESS.
*In TCS you have to seat for only one single exam i.e for TCS digital and
TCS Ninja. Now talking about the exam pattern, this includes four
sections Quantitative Aptitude, English, Programming and Coding. In
total you will have 41 questions with a time of 90 mins.
*Top 35% will be selected for the Interview Round. From this 35%,Top
10% will be called for TCS DIGITAL test followed by TCS digital
Interview . Remaining 25% And candidates who failed in TCS DIGITAL
Test will be called for TCS NINJA INTERVIEW. Annual package for TCS
Digital ranges between 6-8lpa and TCS Ninja Will give you max 3.5 lpa.
This process will give equal chance of opportunity to every aspirant
thought India.
*Then comes the final Interview Process. Interview for the TCS is done
in one single round. Interview panel will have 3 members:

1.Technical Expert, 2.Mangerial Member,3. HR Expert

*Your 1st panel member which is the technical member will ask you
technical related questions and also engineering specific subjects.
Questions may be based on specific knowledge about the company’s
technical activities, understanding of the technical work required to be
completed as a part of job.
*Managerial member ask questions much different from entry level job
interview. Hiring manager will address a no. Of different competencies.
This helps him understand how you will think and act in tough
situations.
*The HR manager will ask you questions of basic general workforce
culture like where you see yourself in 5 years and much more starting
from your Introduction, qualifications, experience, courses done, your
strengths and weakness. Motive is to determine a candidate’s
personality as he is viable to work in the organization or not.
Once you are selected you will get the offer letter in between 10-15
days and joining date will be between 3-6 months after receiving offer
letter.
