 ABC Popcorn
Directions and Suggestions
These alphabet popcorn cards can be used in a variety of ways!
The sign on the next page was designed to go on the outside of a popcorn
container. I found mine at Target in their Dollarspot section.
Simply print, cut, and laminate the alphabet popcorn kernels to use with your
students.
** Please note: If the cards don’t fit in your popcorn container perfectly, you
can change the scale/percentage that you print them on your printer.
Popcorn containers might be slightly different sizes. I would suggest printing
one page of the letters first and seeing how the letters fit in the container
before printing off the entire set. J

Games and ideas:

•  Exit ticket: Students draw a letter and have to say the letter name or
sound before going out to recess.
•  Center or small group: Pass the popcorn container and students pick a
piece of popcorn. If they know the letter they get to keep it, otherwise

the popcorn goes back in the container.
•  Letter matching or ABC order: Students can work together to put the
popcorn pieces in ABC order and then match capital and lowercase letters.
