Video: THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU LEARN ENGLISH

Now, in this part we will learn some common words that are often used when
talking about the problem when you learn English:

- Important (adjective): having a great effect on people or things of great value.

E.g. Listening is an important part of the job.

- Get through (verb): to be successful in an exam, etc.

E.g. I’ve got through all final tests.

- Though (conjunction): used to add a fact or an opinion that makes the


previous statement less strong or less important

E.g. He'll probably say no, though it's worth asking.

- Practice (verb): doing an a ctivity or training regularly so that you can improve
your skill; the time you spend doing this

E.g. I must practice speaking English every day to pass the final exam.

- Skill (noun): the ability to do something well

E.g. The job requires skill and an eye for detail.

- Directly (adverb): in a direct line or manner.

E.g. He's directly responsible to the boss.

Okay class, in this part we will learn some common sentences that are often used
when talking about the problem when you learn English:

- She finds it very difficult to get through though she’s been trying so
hard to learn English.

- Tell me how she’s been learning English.

- She’s joined an English grammar course and also tried to learn it by


herself at home.

- I think I should talk with her directly to give her the best advice.
