has displayed excellent customer response on the stretch target planning of
shifting of feeders from AIS to GIS in best possible time & without any Safety

In North Circle at Malad, Node had taken up Project of 22KV AIS to GIS Conversion.
There were Many Constraints i.e. Space Constraints, Loaded Feeders, Back to Back
Connections, Completely Cable Filled Trenches etc.
1)TPC-D 11KV Malad Network was Congested & They required Space for their 11KV
Switchgear to decongest their 11KV Network. Had initial Planning Meetings with TPC-
D and Planned our 22KV GIS Installation to accommodate max 22KV Feeders as per our
Malad DPR and their Requirement. Also, Space Created for their 11KV Switchgear.
Coordinated well with TPC-D so that AIS to GIS Replacement was carried out in Min &
Stretched targeted time of 4Months, which included Cable Shifting, AIS Dismantling,
Civil foundation works, New GIS Installation, Commissioning & Load Service. Also
Supported them in installation of their switchgear.
2)AEML had Loaded & Back to Back Connected Feeders. Had Frequent meetings & Planned
Phasing of 22KV GIS Commissioning so there was min Outage time for AEML Feeders.
Coordinated well with AEML for Feeder Shifting in Interim & Final stage, so that
AIS to GIS Replacement was carried out smoothly & within stretched timelines. Also
supported them during Cable Shifting. AEML expressed satisfaction as their Back to
Back Feeders were segregated .
These has helped in Ensuring Excellent Customer Satisfaction & also in Exceeding
Capex/Capitalisation & Bay Utilization targets.
