The City of Jackson, 

MS owns and operates a Class I Rubbish Disposal Site, which is located

at 6810 I-55 South Frontage Road, Byram, MS. The City of Jackson’s Rubbish Fill offers rates
lower than any other disposal faculty in the metro area. The following waste is acceptable:

Construction and demolition debris, such as wood, metal, etc.

Brick, mortar, concrete, stone, and asphalt
Cardboard boxes 
Natural vegetation, such as tree limbs, stumps, and leaves
Appliances which have had the motor removed
Furniture
Glass, crockery, and metal, except containers
Sawdust, wood shavings, and wood chips

Tires and metal appliances are accepted at the facility, but later recycled.
