downloaded from PPRA and PTVC websites or can be collected from the office of the
undersigned during office hours. Pre qualification proposals in sealed envelope clearly marked
as "Technical Proposal for "MODERNIZATION OF CAMERA AND PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT OF
PTV'Phase-6, duly addressed to Controller Audit, Chairman Senior Tender Committee, PTV
Headquarters Office, Constitution Avenue F-5/1, Islamabad must be received up to September
8, 2021 at 1100 Hours. Technical Proposals shall be opened after 1130 Hours on the same day
in the presence of bidders who may wish to attend. PrVC reserves the right to reject all the bids
or proposals in the light of clause 33 of PPRA rules 2004. The Financial Proposals will be invited
later-on from the prequalified bidders only, which shall be communicated to them.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Local bidders are required to provide:-
i. Company profile along with registration certificate (as per companies’ act 1984), as well as
NTN/Sales Tax registration certificate.
ii. Compliance report against each equipment specifications must be filled, signed and
stamped on provided specification document.
iii. Agency certificate in favor of local agent or Distributer certificate in case of 3 rd party.
iv. Manufacturer can directly participate in the tender.
v. It will be mandatory for all bidders to high light the desired features/specification of
the equipment quoted for pre qualification on the technical literature failing of which
proposal will not be accepted.
vi. The supplier may quote any section or all of equipment. Technical proposals for each
equipment may be provided in separate envelop and if proposals are more than one then all
may be placed in one main envelop.
vii. No advance payment is admissible.
viii. Quoted Prices should be CPT Islamabad based and valid for at least a period of 120 days.
ix. Ex-work prices will not be accepted.
x. Earnest money @ 2 % of FCA value will be required with price tender.
xi. Earnest money Demand Drafts or Pay Orders from scheduled Banks by 1st lowest bidder
will be retained till the opening of L/C and 2nd lowest will be retained till the issuance of
purchase order to the lowest firm.
xii. The bidders may kindly note that payment through Irrevocable Letter of Credit (IRLC) at
sight.
xiii. The bidder has to sign an agreement with PTVC besides providing 10% bank guarantees
(BG) against shipment and 5% performance guarantee (PG) well before shipment. The
shipment guarantee shall be discharged after the consignments are received in our stores
without any discrepancy.
xiv. The performance guarantee shall be discharged after completion of one year/ 18 Months as
applicable, in case of satisfactory performance. During the warranty period all expenses are
to be borne by the supplier in case of replacement of the unit/faulty parts.
xv. The supplier is responsible for supply of spare parts at least for TEN years post warranty
period.
xvi. The supplier shell mention the country of origin and manufacturing of the equipment.
xvii. PTV reserve the right to
a. Increase or decrease the quantities mentioned in the tender, based upon any revision in
requirements.
b. Reject all the bids or proposals as per PPRA regulation clause 33 rules 2004
xviii. Certificate from local agent declaring non defaulter within Pakistan with any
government/public sector entity.
xix. PTV defaulters/black listed firms are not qualified to participate in the bidding
process.
xx. Certificate of acceptance of terms & conditions of PTV.
