Element of the Story of The Sparrow and the Shrimp

Time: This story takes a long time ago.

Settings: in the water, field of hay

Character: sparrow and the shrimp, farmer

Plot

Exposition: A sparrow fell in love with a cute little shrimp.

Complication: the sparrow found himself slowly drowning and he begged his wife to go to abode
somewhere in the thick field of hay and the shrimp accepts his wish.

Climax: They were happy until one day, the shrimp died and it hit the sparrow hard and the sparrow
makes a promise that he will never leave the shrimp.

Conclusion: a farmer set the field of hay on fire and the body of the shrimp will get burn but the sparrow
tried to save her body but the shrimp couldnt hold on to the sparrow's wings so they both get burned.

Theme: Love is never ending but not all of the story will end up happily ever after, some ends in tragedy.

Poetry

Imagery: Sadness and wanting to stop living.

Rhyme Scheme: The rhyme scheme of the poetry "kumintang" is abab, cdcd, efef.

Tone: The tone of the poetry is serious and sad.

Theme: Some of us live a happy life, some live on sadness in their heart.
