Procurement
- Handling the whole procurement cycle of including development of the purchase strategy,
supplier appraisal, drafting terms & conditions, negotiation & contract award.
- Preparing Annual Rate Contracts with vendors for stockable/consumable items and for work
order indents and timely renewal of contracts after review.
- Conducting assessment of performance of the vendors (vendor rating) based on criterions like
quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, service, communications, etc. Preparing
and updating existing purchasing manuals.
Warehouse Operations
- Controlling Receipt & Issue of Materials as per Procedure, Controlling Min-Max level on daily
basis, Monthly consumption report, WIP report, reconciliation of materials & jobs works.
- Planning, directing and maintaining efficient store operations; assigning and evaluating the work
performance of personnel assigned to the store. Monitoring stocks & consumption patterns,
overseeing receipts & issues from fresh, inter-branch, outside printer & outside rewinding stocks.
- Planning physical layout of warehouse for storage of materials, finished goods & consumables
and ensuring smooth accounting, issue of material based on FIFO method.
- Monitoring receipts of raw, packing and miscellaneous material. Preparation of GRNs, storage of
materials.
- Undertaking perpetual inventory checks of stock at regular intervals, co-ordinate with marketing
department for receipt, checking and clarification of all incoming sales/ purchase orders.
Organisational Experience
Inventory Management:
- Maintaining optimum stock level for inventory and setting norms for the same for timely
availability.
- Ensuring optimum inventory; handling disposal of scrap to achieve cost savings without
hampering the projects works/production.
- Spearheading cost reduction initiatives consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added
processes & complete re-engineering of processes and systems.
- Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement
costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line performance indicators.
Business plan
Execute the business plan in accordance with organization goals. This includes parts sales
targets, inventory targets.
Lead the parts sales team to ensure that the annual sales targets are achieved.
Design the inventory, sales and pricing strategy in accordance with the targeted profits.

Strategy for parts promotion as per the parts category.
Market survey for similar products of competitors and strategy to prevent loss of business to
competition.

To ensure profitable business module for company & dealers.

Parts orders from dealer & regions, Invoicing, despatch, logistic arrangements, etc.
