How to create a new order in Agrigenome LIMS

If you don’t remember your password please click on ‘forgot


password’. User name and registered email should be
entered and new password will be send to your email ID.

Once you login the below popup will be shown

If you come under a dealer, your dealer details will be


displayed here.
If you select ‘Yes’ you will continue with dealer credit
and if you select ‘No’ you will continue with individual
credits.

NOTE: A detailed description on how to avail credits is mentioned at the end of this document.

You will be directed to ‘new order’ creation page once the mode of credit is chosen.

Your company/institute name, reaction credit details will be displayed.


NOTE: Reaction/Cash credit is mandatory for placing/generating order in LIMS.
Your sample and primer details can be manually entered (via order wizard), or you can download
order form (excel sheet), fill in the details and then upload the form in LIMS.

NOTE: Mandatory fields to be included are template (sample) name, template size, type
of service required and primer name.
Below is an example of order details entered via Order Form. If PCR products are to be purified,
the type can be entered as ‘Purify PCR product and sequence’ and under the purification column
required purification method (column/ gel extraction) can be mentioned. For plasmid isolation
from E.coli, type can be mentioned as ‘Plasmid DNA sequencing’ and under the purification
column ‘Plasmid isolation’ should be selected.

NOTE: No special characters will be accepted in sample/primer names. Also, under the size column
only numerical values will be accepted. If there is any special character/ numerical values, while
uploading the form, LIMS will be showing ‘Error’. Below is an example for the same.

Once all the details are filled please click on ‘Submit’. Below pop up will be displayed.

Please select ‘I agree’ and click OK’ if you agree to the terms and conditions. Your order is
generated, and a unique order number will be assigned to you.

Your order can be viewed by clicking on the


order number

Request you to keep a hard copy of the order sheet along with the samples or a soft copy of the
same can be shared to ‘support@aggenome.com’.

How to avail credits for Sanger sequencing.

Sanger Credits
The credits refer to the count of reactions or the cash available in the registered user IDs of
clients against which they may avail services as per the rates of services defined for them.

Types of credits
There are four types of credits that can be availed by the client:
1. Reaction Credit for individual client.
2. Cash Credit for individual client.
3. Reactions credit of dealer, available only if associated with a dealer.
4. Cash credit of a dealer, available only if associated with a dealer.
At least one type of credit, among the above listed, is mandatory for creating an order in the
LIMS. The credits that can be added to users against their advance invoices and payments shall be
anyone of the above listed type.

Process of Availing Credits


To get the count of reactions OR cash to be credited in the accounts of clients, the following
steps may be followed:
1) Discuss with the respective AgriGenome Sales Person(BD): The requirement of the client is to be
discussed with the BD. The details of services, respective count needed, its value etc may be
discussed with our account manager in charge of your account.
2) Preparing a quotation: Based on the discussion, our BD/ Account manager will prepare a
quotation through the LIMS.
3) Issuing the PO/confirmation: Once the quote is submitted to the client and the client is willing to
proceed with the same, the next step is to get the PO or confirmation from them. The accepted types
of PO or confirmation include the following, of which any one is mandatory:
• Copy of PO issued by concerned official in the institute / client
• Scanned copy of the proposal submitted, duly endorsed on all pages.
• Mail confirmation from the registered mail ID of the client in which the quote number,
service types and values are mentioned in detail. Mail communication with
incomplete details or incorrect references cannot be accepted.
• Copy of invoices issued previously along with the proof of payment receipt.

The BD has to upload all documents that will help in confirming the payments and invoicing claims.
The list of documents will be intimated to the BD on a case-by-case basis by the concerned official in
AgriGenome.
The first three of the options above is for fresh quotes and the fourth option will be accepted only
in the cases of invoices or payments issued in advance.

Points to note:
1. For reaction credit, the count of reactions will be reflected in the client account as per the
proposal/PO. For cash credit, the value of the services without tax will be given as credit to the
user account.
2. In reaction credit, the mutual exchange of one credit to another is not possible.
3. In cash credit, the user can avail any services with the available credit even if the service is not
quoted in the proposal.
4. In cash credit, the rate of services is captured from the database in the following hierarchy:
a. First from the available proposal if the service is listed
b. If (a) is not defined, then from rates defined at the time of user ID creation, if available.
c. If the above two values are not defined, then from the standard pricing as per the AgriGenome
pricelist.
5. Confirmation from the client will be sought each time when opting for other services, in the cash
credit system. The amount without tax will be informed to the client.
6. While creating the order ID, the client can select the option for the above 4 credits as below:
a. After clicking the “New Order” link (available under Manage Order >> Sanger Order >> New
Order) the client will be prompted to select if they want to proceed with dealer’s credit or
self-credit. The status of availability of the credits will be informed to the user, i.e. whether credit
is available or not in the selected option will be informed.
b. Once the client has fixed the user-type of credits, they will be directed to the order creation page.
c. In the order creation page, they will still have the option to select between reaction credit and cash
credit, as per the availability. This should be selected, and the credits will be displayed in the page.
7. The credit balance deduction and real time availability will be shown each time on selecting the
options.
