OFFICE ORDER

Consequent upon the decision taken by the Government on the

recommendations of Seventh Central Pay Commission, and in supersession of the
existing orders relating to admissibility of Uniform Allowance/Washing
Allowance/Stitching Charges/ Shoes allowance etc. to common categories of Group
-
'C' and erstwhile Group '0' employees of various Ministries/Departments including
attached/subordinate offices, who are supplied uniform and are required to wear
them regularly, they shall be paid Dress Allowance at the rate of Rs.5000/- per year as
per DoP&T's O.M. No. 14/4/2015-JCA-2 dated 31st August, 2017.

2. The rates of these allowances will be increased by 25% every time the
Dearness Allowance rises by 50%.

3. These orders shall be effective from 1st July, 2020.

4. All the eligible employees drawing Dress Allowance are directed to attend office
in proper uniform.

5. Cash section is requested to take necessary action for payment of Dress

Allowance to common categories of Group 'C' and erstwhile Group '0' employees of
