While lighting the candle:

“May the invisible presence of HELIAS ATHERSATHA be invoked among us, the
‘Founder of God’, Conductor and Protector of the RoseCroix.”

While lighting the incense:

“Gather your thoughts, my Brother, so that our hearts and minds may be in union,
beyond death, with those of the Past Masters, with whom we are linked by spirit and by
truth in our Leader, the Light of the World: the Anointed One of Light, the Sole Mediator
of Humankind, The Way, the Truth, the Life, the Primitive Light, Wisdom, the Sole
Medium through Whom Man may return to God: the CHRIST.

“"Receive my Brother, by this sign (a) the esoteric Astral Initiation of the RoseCroix of
Egypt, such as was secretly passed on to me by my Consecrator according to the

While extinguishing the candle:
