DIGITAL FABRICATION (CNC CUTTING)

ØCNC cutting is one of the digital fabrication processes which subtractive processes that start with solid blocks, bars,
or rods of plastic, metal, or other materials that are shaped by removing material through cutting, boring, drilling, and
grinding.
Ø COMPONENTS OF CNC:
• First, the object’s program is inserted into the MCU of
the CNC.

to the program prepared, it prepares all the motion
commands and sends it to the driving system.

7. Electric discharge CNC - this machine uses electric sparks to manage materials to the desired shape.
8. 5-axis CNC - It has 3 axes (X, Y, and Z) and 2 additional axes are (A, B) specially for sculpture making.
