1.Drink, drink, drink

Drinking plenty of fluids can help decongest, moisten the throat, relieve a dry
cough, and prevent dehydration. It is important to stay hydrated, so drink
plenty of fluids. Water, lemon water, coconut water, soda, or tea can help
with rehydration. Avoid drinking caffeine and alcohol as these can dehydrate
you.

2. Soup for the sick.

Hot liquids, fruit juices, lemon tea, or soup not only help moisturize and
soothe the upper respiratory tract, they can also have a psychological benefit
by providing a sense of well-being.

3.Calm and relieve symptoms

Colds often cause a sore or sore throat, and saltwater gargles can soothe
them. Sucking on a lozenge or lozenge can also relieve throat pain or
irritation. Avoid giving them to young children as they can cause suffocation.
Saline nasal spray or drops can also help decongest the nose and clear
excess mucus.
