DIMENSION & TOLERANCE ENGINEER
- Define DTS, target dimension, tolerance of Gap, Flush for Interior, Exterior.
- Verify DTS based on assembly sequence and process feasibility to make sure
manufacturing can follow.
- Define RPS strategy for components, system, sub-system BIW, Doors Closure, trim
parts or requirements from Module Group.
- Define mounting concept and assembling methods with welding workshop for
finished vehicles.
- Define tolerance, measurement points based on RPS and function dimension follow
VinFast standard.
- Make analysis 2D, 3D tolerance calculation by Excel or 3DCS.
- Support design team in managing design changes related to dimensional
tolerances. Review and approve GD&T drawings.
- Building checklists, management documents, template reports for GD&T team.
- Support Standards team to develop the vinfast standard documents.
- Support Data management to develop Start model, Q-Checker, checklist ERN, ECR.
- Make catia macro to automatically create grid line, drawing frame, change the part
name, part number, get information of points, material library …
