use it properly.

intended to help you become acquainted as easily as with the ins and outs of the product and use
it properly.

TABLE OF ALARM

1.4. TAG: [CIT-1111_LO] / [CIT-1111_LL]
Description FEED WATER SALINITY LOW
FEED WATER SALINITY TOO LOW
Information It will be activated when the salinity to electrolysis is lower than 15PSU.
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag No.
1. Incorrect salinity range If the salinity of feed water is lower than 15PSU and the sensor N/A
*Low salinity: < 15PSU is normal, In this case, the salt tank unit or the dedicated
*Too low salinity: < 13PSU seawater tank for backup salt source shall be used in low
salinity region.
2. Contamination of the 1) Disconnect the cable and disassemble the CIT sensor’s T/S-CIT-01
probe head.
2) Check the electrode of the probe and cleaning.
3) Assemble the probe and check again.
3. Incorrect calibration Recalibration of CIT Sensor. T/S-CIT-02
4. Sensor Fault 1) Check the input power of the sensor. N/A

1.7. TAG: [BSP_S/P_TO_08]
Description INJ VALVE CLOSE TIME-OUT
Information It will be activated when it takes over 120sec to close the valve.
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag No.
1. Incorrect position of the Calibration of positioner. T/S-FIT-01
flow control valve
2. Air vent of the Check if the air vent line of the positioner is blocked. N/A

3. Pressure low or fail of 1) Check if the supply pressure of the pneumatic or hydraulic N/A

1.11. TAG: [PIT-1121_LO]
Description BLOWER DISCHARGE PRESS LOW
Information It will be activated when the difference pressure before/after blower starting is
lower than the specific value in the ALARM setting value.
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag

1. Malfunction of the 1) Check the input power of the sensor, DC24V. If not, please N/A
sensor check the cable, connection, and the power supply in the CC-100.
2) Check the output signal cable(4~20mA).
3) Disassemble of the sensor and check if the probe visually is
broken or not.

1.12. TAG: [TE-1111_HI] / [TE-1111_HH]
Description FEEDING WATER TEMP. HIGH
Information It will be activated when the feed water for electrolysis unit is higher than 38
deg. C for the high alarm and 55 deg. C for the shutdown, respectively.
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag No.
1. Malfunction of the 1) Check the input power of the sensor. N/A
sensor 2) Check the output signal cable.
2. Contamination of the 1) Disassemble the measuring probe of the sensor. T/S-CIT-01
probe 2) Check the electrode of the probe and cleaning.
3) Assemble the probe and check again.
3. Abnormal valve Arrange valve correctly. Heat exchanger inlet valve(XV-1731) to T/S-TE-01
arrangement for heat be closed and heat exchanger by-pass valve(XV-1732) to be
exchanger opened.
4. Hot source water Check hot source water temperature. If it judged hotter than T/S-TE-02
temperature is too high design temperature(36 deg. C), reduce hot source water flow
rate by throttling manual butterfly valve.

2.3. TAG: [DST_S_TO_01] OR [DSP_S_TO_04]
Description 1) F/U BYPASS VALVE OPEN TIME-OUT
2) F/U BYPASS VALVE CLOSE TIME-OUT
Information It will be activated when the bypass valve of the filter unit is not working after
receiving OPEN/CLOSE command during deballasting. [TIME-OUT.120sec]
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag No.
1. Pressure low or fail of the 1) Check if the supply pressure of the pneumatic or
pneumatic or hydraulic hydraulic for the valve is proper or not. Recommended T/S-FU-03

2. Back-flushing motor 1) Check if the MCCB for motor is “OFF” in the Filter Panel. T/S-FU-06
fault If “OFF”, please turn it “ON”.
2) Check if the error lamp of KM1 contactor is on or not
inside LCP after reset. If error keeps on, please check if
there is any foreign body interrupting rotation of the back-
flushing arm inside of the filter unit
3) Check the geared motor.
3. Blockage of the air 1) Check if the air vent hole is blocked or not. If blocked, T/S-FU-07
vent please remove a foreign blocking material.
4. Blocking of the back- 1) Check if the manual valves are OPEN on the back- N/A
flushing line flushing line.
2) Check if the check valve is working or not.
5. Broken(hole) of the 1) Check if there is a broken part or a hole in the back- N/A
back-flushing line flushing line at lower part of filter unit inside.
6. Pressure sensor fail 1) Check if the inlet/outlet pressure sensors is working T/S-FU-08
properly.
2) If not, please check the cable and signal.
3) if not, please replace the sensor.
7. Clogging of the filter 1) Do backflushing using the ballast pump. T/S-FU-09
elements 2) Check the filter elements are contaminated or not. If then, T/S-FU-10
please do cleaning according to the trouble shooting
manual.

Description NO.1(2) FILTER (F-121/122) NOT READY
Information It will be activated in case that the MCCB of filter in the LCP is OFF.

Description 1) TRO HIGH

Information 1) Too high alarm when TRO injection dosage is more than 10PPM for
600sec delay time.
2) High alarm when TRO injection dosage is more than 9PPM for 600sec
delay time.
Causes Troubleshooting/Corrective Action T/S Tag No.
1. Too high current value of 1) Check if the output current on the rectifier during T/S-TRO-08
rectifier. operation to electrolyzer modules is within proper range.
2) If this alarm occurs at initial startup procedure, please
reduce 10A of the initial set value of the rectifier. And

RECTIFIER START TIME-OUT
Information It will be activated when RS-485 communication error is occurred between
ACONIS and rectifier.
It will be activated when the rectifier does NOT stop after receiving STOP-
command from ACONIS controller. The STOP command shall be activated
by the digital output OR communication command from the PLC controller,
where the rectifier model is to be Remote mode.
It will be activated when the rectifier does NOT start after receiving START-
command from ACONIS controller thru communication. The START
command shall be activated by the digital output AND communication
command from the PLC controller, where the rectifier model is to be Remote
mode.

Reference : . We recommend that our customers use 2.5% standard reagent for this manual. However,
in case you don’t have standard reagent, you can use the water from the condensate system with a
known salinity can be used. Or you can make salt-water by using salt and fresh-water.

inlet/outlet/bypass valve with multi-meter. The diagram below is for reference only.

4. Input the tag name(‘valve no.-OP (or CL’)) and click “OK”. (ex. BA046-OP)

7. Check the LED of channel(CH) in D.O card which is installed in control cabinet. If the LED is
ON(green color), ACONIS is sending the open (or close) DO command to the valve. But if

please refer to the electrical wiring diagram which had been delivered to the vessel.

the mimic and valve in local site.

a) Check the cable connection of motor terminal box.
b) Check the rotation direction of motor referring to the direction mark.
c) Check the output power of motor and restart motor after cooling. If motor output is lower
than the specification it may cause unstable backflushing function. It needs to be replaced
with rated capacity.
d) If above all is fine but it keeps on diffierential alarm, filter is clogging with internal particles.
It shall be required to clean the filter element.

Caution : PIT Sensor is very sensetive. Therefore, please don’t use compressed air to clean.
Especially, please don’t poke detecting hole by sharpen tool.

1. Arrangement
:a) Arrange the valves to sea to sea mode

2. Manual Backflushing
a) Start ballast pump without BWTS system.
b) Click “M” button and press “FLUSHING START” as like the above mimic to do back-
flushing
c) Back flushing will stop automatically after 30 seconds
d) Press “FLUSHING START” button every 30s for 5min to remove the particles stuck on
the filter element.
e) If the DP is still high, element of filter should be checked

1) Check the filter elements are contaminated or not. If then, please do cleaning

capacity until back-flushing becomes normal, for instance, 50% of the rated flow

b) Loosen the tefron washer using the 19mm box wrench and arrange the washer in the box
to prevent the loss

10. a) Clean the filter elements from outside to inside using the high pressure machine.
b) Start the cleaning of the element at a distance of the water jet about 1m
c) Slowly reduce the distance about 50cm
d) The Maximum water temperature should not exceed 60℃
e) The pressure range of the water jet should be ‘20bar<P<100bar’
(Only Fresh Water can be used)

12. a) Put the upper mounting plate on the filter element.
b) Tighten up tefron washer using box wrench carefully. Don’t tighten strongly, it could be
borken up.
13. a) Adjust the horizontality between the housing flange and tefron washer.
b) Match the lock-pin and lock-hole
c) Match the drive shaft and intermediate shaft.
d) Put the top cover.
14. a) Assemble the bolt & nut by the hand of ship’s crew temporarily.
b) Tighten up by air impact according to the number of the left picture(repeat 2~3 times).
c) Turn along the circle(2~3 times).
