Expatriates
Most organizations are now working globally due to the internet and globalization to reach many
geographical areas. As a result, many organizations in the United States send their workers on
international tasks to work as expatriates. These global tasks require considerable finance, planning, and
expatriate training as a strategy of improving expats' success and experience. However, working and
living in a new country may be a challenge. Still, we can reduce these challenges by taking workers
through an official expatriate training program and their families before moving to the new countries. I
will be offering my expatriate training to Amazon Company to train their employees in Italy.
Among the three candidates, the 33-year-old married woman with one elementary school daughter
will be eligible for the expatriate training because she will go through the expatriate training and her
family compared to others who do not have families yet. The 33-year-old woman will be trained before
moving to the new country, and she will be able to adapt and have a comfortable stay since she will be
living with her family (Wesarat & Sharif, 2018). Due to cultural shock that may be a likely challenge to
this family, I would like to prepare them before they go. Some aspects that lead to cultural shock result
from personal characteristics, which require them to accept their behavioral changes and try as much as
possible to adjust by creating awareness to themselves that they are moving to a new country. They
should do a pre-departure arrival by preparing themselves to adapt to recent changes (Wesarat & Sharif,
2018). Another preparation before moving to Italy is transition adjustment, social and personal relations,

I will provide cultural training for the company's expatriates to understand the cultural norms, values,
behavioral patterns, and beliefs of the Italians (Bednarova & Chovancová, 2018). I will also bring the
employees and ex-pats closer to get social support, job assistance, and friendship. My training will also
include all the family members and ensure they benefit from the training structure.
