Nowadays fast food is becoming more and more popular.

Some towns have allowed

fast food restaurants from opening closer than 400 meters to schools and parks but
some towns have banned that. In my opinion, fast food restaurants, like McDonalds
are overrated.

First of all, fast food is dangerous to health. When people eat fast food often they
become fatter and in the end they can become obese. Furthermore, people can get
more serious diseases such as cancer. Secondly, fast food is very expensive. If fast
food restaurant are open near schools, teenagers will be there every day and they
will spend a lot of money. Not all parents can afford it. Besides that, it is always
crowded in fast food restaurants. People have to wait several hours to get their turn.
If fast food restaurants are open near schools, teenagers can be late for class.

Supporters claim that fast food restaurants are everywhere in the world and we can
go there wherever we are. This is one of the main reasons why people love fast food
restaurants. They say that they want fast food restaurants near schools because they
sometimes don’t have enough time to cook or they just want to save time.
Nevertheless, teenagers love fast food more than food which their parents make. In
addition, fast food restaurants are great to celebrate a birthday and to meet new
people. Finally, fast food restaurants are constantly advertised so they attract
teenagers.   

To sum up, despite all benefits it is not good to open fast food restaurants near
schools. In my opinion it is very silly idea and I think that in this way they want to earn
even more money.
