1. An eleven year old boy who just had adenoidectomy has normal growth and
development. List her diet from day 1 to day 4 after surgery.
Day 1
Breakfast:
 cooked cereal, thinned with milk
 apple juice
Lunch:
 Pancake
 Yogurt
Dinner:
 soggy waffles or french toast (no crusts), soaked in syrup
 Water
Day 2
Breakfast:
 soft bread with processed cheese
 apple juice
Lunch:
 Sandwich tuna (no crust)
 Watermelon (without seeds)
Dinner:
 Mashed potato
 Water
Day 3
Breakfast:
 Soggy waffles
 Kool-aid
Lunch:
 Pudding
 Ice cream
Dinner
 Sandwich tuna (without crust)
 Water
Day 4
Breakfast:
 Soggy cold cereal (soaked in milk)
 Watermelon (no seeds)
Lunch:
 smooth peanut butter sandwich (no crust)
 yogurt
Dinner:
 mashed potatoes
 apple juice

2. A vegan diet for an elderly male, has poor teeth and is anorexic.
Eat small meals and snacks in between throughout the day. Include plant-based milks
(such as soya, almond, or coconut milk) in your tea, coffee or smoothie. Add olive,
vegetable or sunflower oil to your favourite meals. Mix plant creams or vegan cheese in
mashed potatoes, soups and stews. Add nut butters to bread, dairy-free yoghurt and
smoothies.
