MY ROUTINES_EXERCISE

PART 1

This is Jenny doing her routines. Using the following pictures, write Jenny’s
routines.
As a teacher, discipline is a must. I have a regular schedule which I always do it very disciplinary. In
the morning, I always wake up at 5 no matter it is weekdays or weekend. I brush my teeth, wash my
face and then pray Shubuh.

At 6 am, I cook my breakfast. I always make a simple breakfast, such as sandwiches, bread, and
instant noodle with milk or sometimes juice.

At 6.30 I have my breakfast then prepare myself to go to school,Sometimes I read newspaper to

keep up with the news. I always prepared all my school stuffs before I go to bed, so in the morning I
don’t have to worry about school thing.

I leave the house at 7. I go to by walking to bus terminal with my friends . At 7.30 am I arrive at the
school. The lessons start at 7.40 so I still have 20 minutes to prepare my learning media. sometimes
I talk with other teachers about the students’ progress.

I teach in one of International elementary school. Our school applies full day school, so our day will
end up at 4 pm.

At 10 o’clock we have our first break. We pray Dhuha together and take a little rest for about 15
minutes. Our second break at 12.30. We pray Dhuhur together and eat lunch. The lunch is provided
by the school. The teachers and students eat together.

Our lessons end up at 4 pm. Before I leave the school I pray Ashar first. and after I get home at 5 am
and I go to bathroom to clean up myself. And prepare for Magrib.

At 6 pm, I prepare my dinner with family, then I enjoy my TV program.

At 7 pm. I pray Isya, after praying I prepare all the school stuffs, such as writing the lesson plan,
arranging the learning media, preparing the material, checking students’ homework and etc.

at 8 pm, sometime i always getting exercise or just take a walk for burning my calories

At 9 pm, I always wash my dirty clothes, it does not spend so much time and energy because I use
the washing machine. While waiting the dirty clothes washed, I tidy up my uniform and iron it. And
finally I sleep at 10 pm.
PART 2

Read the following passage about Jackie’s routines. Then, the questions

Jackie is very busy! She gets up at 6 a.m every morning. Then she brushes her teeth and gets
dressed. After that, she has a quick breakfast and goes to the gym. After the gym, she takes a
shower and gets dressed to go to work.  She drives to work. She gets to work at 9 a.m.
At work, she has meetings, talks on the phone and prepares documents. At 1 p.m she has
lunch. Sometimes she has business lunches with her clients. After lunch, she goes back to
work. She finishes work around 7 p.m. Then she goes home. She gets home around 8
p.m. She has dinner, watches TV and sometimes she likes to read. After that, she takes a
shower and goes to bed around 11 p.m.
