EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Brief Description of the Project

The main purpose of this study is to implement a prototype that will help

the public in maintaining social distancing especially in this type of pandemic.

This type of coronavirus which is COVID19 is still an incurable disease. The

transmission of this virus can be passed through droplets of saliva and even

physical contact that is why social distancing is very important. Social distancing

is maintaining at least 1 meter away from two individuals. It is proven by the

World Health Organization that the virus can't no longer survive in air for at least

1 meter or more in terms of distance it travels.

The study determines the importance of practicing social distancing by

using the Face shield using Ultrasonic sensor for Maintaining Social Distancing.

The objective of this device is to ensure that the user is maintaining the 1-meter

apart rule or not. It has indicators that will tell the user if he or she is following or

not the social distancing rule. It is a microcontroller-based project serves as the

processor of the information coming from the sensor which is the ultrasonic

sensor.

The Face shield using ultrasonic sensor with flashlight has been tested

and shows that it follows and implements its objective needed to be done.

Project Contributions to the Economy

The developers proposed a device called Face shield using ultrasonic

sensor with flashlight that can help user for social distancing and added a

flashlight for safety of user. This proposed project will have a huge impact on the

1.1 Description of the Product

The developers proposed a device called Face shield using ultrasonic sensor

with flashlight that can help user for social distancing and added a flashlight for safety of

user at night time.

1.2 Comparison of the Product with its Competitors

One of the edge to these competitors is that product have a ultrasonic sensor

for implementing the social distancing. It includes flashlight for extra feature to make this

product more useful, reliable and safety.

1.3 Location

The business venture will be strategically located in Mall, and grocery stores
for wide range distribution of this product to reach our target customers.

1.4 Market Area

The business is restricted in Mall, Grocery and will be based in the


management, marketing, technical and socio-economic aspects of the business. It aims
to engage a manufacturing company that will alter the face shields with the innovations
of a face shield using ultrasonic sensor with flashlight. People within the area will be the
target customers. This product can be sell in online. We can market also the rural, urban
and suburban areas for wide range target of the target customers.

The main target of this product is everyone, especially workers who worked
at night time scheduled.

It is possible for the modern times, of course with the implementing the faces

distancing, Here, in the Philippines because of pandemic we need to implement the
social distancing to prevent the transmission of the virus.

Report studies shows that Face shield in the Philippines are the focus on top

manufacturers because of the mandatory wearing the face shield with capacity,

production, price, revenue and market share for each manufacturer. Our Face shield

1.9 Sales Forecast

We estimated the quantity of will be sold, the quantity we plan to sell is only a

low quantity of 50-60 Face shield using ultrasonic sensor with flashlight as our starting

business. Therefore, we shall analyzed how fast our product will be sold through the

market if its fast then we will make more of our product.

1.10 Promotional Measures

The promotional tactics for generating awareness about the innovative Face

shield using ultrasonic sensor with flashlight will be used by the business:

In this world full of people hooked internet because of pandemic that we

encountered, having a social media as a tool to promote a business is a necessity. To

convey the product to a wider range of customer. Aside from the fact that this strategy is

cost free, good communication relationship is guaranteed due to easy exchange of

conversation with the customers.

Nowadays users of the typical Face shield wearing this for the prevention

of transmission of virus by sneezing, cough thru airborne.

Our team design an innovated Face shield ultrasonic sensor with flashlight

by transforming a usual face shield, and with added a ultrasonic sensor alarm for

social distancing with flashlight for the users who worked in night time. The product

ensures that the quality is not compromise by guaranteeing that its parts. The

product emphasized the comfort and the security of the product in achieving

customer satisfaction.

1.12 Market Budget

We are going to use Social Media sites for the free cost and for our safety

because of the Pandemic that we encountered, as of now our company cannot

afford any marketing advertisement. Having a social media in this situation a tool to

promote a business is necessity. To convey the concept behind the product to a

wider range of possible customers, aside from the fact that this strategy is for cost

free, good communication is guaranteed due to easy exchange of conversation with

the customers.
