FOR BROKERS

Greetings,
Registering your office website to use an IDX Vendor is a 3 step process done by the Broker in Charge of the
office.  To register your website with an approved IDX Vendor you will:
1. Go to http://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and click Vendors in the left column.  Login with your MLS ID,
password, and office code and then put a check next to the IDX vendor that you will be using.  Scroll to
the bottom of the page and click Update, then Return to the Main Menu.
2. Click Firms Choices for Firms Agents in the left column.  Click the vendor you just selected and when
the page loads put a checkmark next to Office Site.  Click Next Page, then click Return to Main Menu.
3. Click Websites, click Manage Office Sites, and then click Add a Site.  Type in your web address (of the
website that will have the IDX on it) and then choose the vendor that you selected in the Vendor menu
on the right.  Click Add.
 
You have completed registering your website with an IDX vendor.   You can then give them a call and let them
know you have done so (it will speed things up a little).

FOR AGENTS
 
Greetings,
Registering your website with an IDX provider and getting IDX on your website is a process that will involve
both you and your broker in charge.
 
These instructions are for both the Agent and Broker in Charge.   The Broker in Charge does #1, the Agent
does #2 after the Broker in Charge does #1.
 
1. The Broker in Charge will need to authorize the agent to use an IDX vendor by:
a. Going to http://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and clicking Vendors in the left column.  Login with
the MLS ID, password, and office code and then put a checkmark next to the IDX Vendor. 
Then click Update.
b. Return to the Main Menu and then click Firms Choices for Firms Agents.  Click the IDX vendor
you just chose and then put a checkmark next to the Agents name.  Click Continue.   Once
that has been done the agent can then register their website and choose the vendor.
2. The client/agent will then go to http://idx.trianglemls.com/setup and click Choose Agent Preferences in
the center column. 
a. Login with their MLS ID and password and then click Add a site.
b. Type in the web address of the site that will have IDX on it and choose the IDX vendor you will
be using in the vendor menu.  Click Add.
 
Then contact the vendor and let them know you have registered your website and are now on their client list.
