Mission 5: SCAFFOLDING: In the unit’s performance task, you are expected to create and deliver an
informative speech to productively address human’s issues and problems amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
For it to be successfully introduced, follow the instructions below:
1. Watch/Listen to a short video/audio clip about prosodic features of speech and a sample of an
informative speech by scanning the given QR code below.
2. Observe and listen carefully on how the speaker delivers the speech
with correct prosodic features (stress, volume, pitch and intonation), stance and behavior.
3. Get at least ten (10) words to be defined the meaning using noting context clues.
4. Jot down some key points from the observation and create a short narrative report by answering
the guide questions below.

2. How the speaker delivers her speech in terms of:
a. volume,
b. stress,
c. pitch, and
d. intonation?
3. How the speaker shows her stance as she delivers her informative speech?
4. What behavior does the speaker show on her speech?
