ACTIVITY I:

1. How will you differentiate the RA 9163 to RA 7077 in line with the implementation of the
National Service Training Program in the higher education institution?

ANSWER : R.A. 9163 incorporated some elements of R.A. 7077 such as military training and
improved the law by adding Literacy Training Service which trains students to become teachers of
literacy to out of school youths and Civic Welfare Training Service which is devoted to improving
health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, safety, recreation and morals of the citizenry.
9163 seems to be more focused during peace time then war, like building up young people to
commit to ROTC and other reserves programs.

2.What are the components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP)?

-ROTC

3.Give at least 10 good deeds that you promote or sustain reverence and respect the Philippines
Flag.

1. Respect the flag ceremony

2. Take good care of the flag when it is retreated.

3. When having a flag ceremony sing the national Anthem

4. Stop walking when passing by the school having flag ceremony.

5. Don’t play with the flag.

6. Take good care of disposal of the old used flag when task to do

7. Know the meaning behind the colors of the flag.

8. Respectfully aim to. Fully represent the flag thru doing the good deeds.

9. Stop talking while in flag ceremony.

10. Have a full knowledge and proper ethics in flag ceremony

4. The practice of volunteerism as an approach in order to reach national development and

International understanding. Every Filipino should be educated of volunteerism to foster Social
justice, solidarity and sustainable development. As NSTP student, How will you Exercise/practice
