Technology and Diversity

Shouldn’t we help all students be successful? The answer is yes, but sometimes the students

need a little more support. By integrating the technology resources, it can help all students

succeed maybe just in a different way than the student beside of them. By introducing things

such as speech to text the students who can write but maybe not as quickly as others are given

the opportunity to be on a level playing field without having to have intensive special education

services. Our students know how to use technology and are comfortable with it. Even the under

achieving students may perform better using technology is the classroom setting. Thus, giving

them more a sense of belonging and like the others.
