Input Devices
-Mouse
The mouse is an input device used to select, execute, move, copy, delete, among
others, items on the computer screen.
The main function of the mouse is to transmit hand movements on a flat surface
to the computer. There, the software called driver or controller is responsible for
transforming it into a movement of the pointer on the screen depending on the
various parameters.

-Keyboard
A keyboard is a device that presents the set of keys of various devices, machines, and instruments. In
general, the keyboard allows the control or command

-Monitor

The PC monitor, also called a computer monitor or screen in Spain and a computer monitor in Latin
America, is the main output device, which displays data or information to the user. It is classified in the
category of output devices.

-Printer

The printer is also, like the display, an "output peripheral". It is used for the
computer to write words, numbers, graphs and even photographs on paper.
When we want to keep some data that the computer gives us or we simply
want to read it on paper, we will ask the computer to print it on the printer.

Storage Media
-Magnetic

A disk with a large capacity for storing computer data that is permanently
inserted into the central processing u nit of the computer. This device is
classified in the category of storage media.

-Optical
DVD, acronym for digital versatile disc 'digital versatile disc'; originally acronym for
digital video disc 'digital video disc'. Optical disc capable of containing a large
amount of images, sounds or data in encoded form. This device is classified in the
category of storage media.

-Flash memory
Flash memory allows reading and writing of multiple memory locations in the same
operation. Thanks to this, flash technology, through electrical impulses, allows higher
operating speeds compared to the original EEPROM technology, which only allowed to
act on a single memory cell in each programming operation. This device as well as the
previous one is also classified in the category of storage media.
