Chapter 3

Reflection Paper

The biggest thing I leaned in Implementing the Curriculum is that, as a


teacher we should always be ready everyday with our tasks to implement the
plans and designs because we, the teachers are the ones who will implant
knowledge and shape our learners’ mind for the future. Teachers are also
manager because we need to put into action to what has been planned and
designed to be more actively and engaging in the learning. There is no
substitute for being ready.

According to the curriculum models “the next step to curriculum designing


which is curriculum implementing”. This is the most crucial processes in
curriculum development because teachers must implement the planned and
designed curriculum in the class. The most important person in the curriculum
implementation process is the teacher. With their knowledge, skills,
experiences and competencies, teachers are central to any curriculum
development effort. Better teachers support better learning because they are
most knowledgeable about the practice of teaching and are responsible for
introducing the curriculum in the classroom.
Curriculum implementation means teaching. By means of this, teachers
make sure that what is written in their lesson plan will be implemented well
with students and should have fun teaching so that children can work better in
learning.

Moreover, curriculum implementation means putting into practice the


written curriculum wherein the learners acquire the planned or intended
knowledge, skills and attitudes.
