 Engage

*Prepare a jumbled word/ letter of the word “Moon”.

Let the learners arrange the letters to form a word.

page 205 of the textbook.

 Elaborate ✓Is the movement of the moon is clockwise or counter

clockwise? (Counter clockwise)

*Show diagram about the movement of the moon. Use

a protractor to estimate the degree of the movement
of the moon per day.

*The pupils should also make their own diagram as the

teacher demonstrate on how to estimate the degree of
the movement of the moon per day.

*If the moon moves 13.2 degrees per day

✓ What is the average movement of the moon per

week? (92.4 or 92 degrees)

13.2 (movement per day)

x7 (a day in a week)
