and discuss -with a critical and respectful mind - the
different economic periods Latin America and the USA
have undergone since 1880s up to the present. I hope

1-According to the authors the poverty and inequity caused by the

neoliberal period opened the door to left-wing governments. Explain this
statement giving examples.

2- Explain what the “Bolsa Familia” consisted of, how it was financed and say
if there was something similar in Argentina.
3- Which are according to the authors other mayor ills in Argentina and the
other Latin American countries apart from the global economy model.

chart with the main characteristics of each period. Can you find any points
