Camaná is a province of Arequipa.

It is surrounded by
three provinces, called Islay, Condesuyos and Caylloma. It
has the ocean that surrounds it to the south. The
population is around 58.952.
Camaná has sunny, hot summers. It has cloudy, cold
winters. In the past, the main production was sugar cane.
Today, the province is better known for the production the
rice, its culture and its shrimp-based gastronomy.
The main things to see and do in Camaná is the caves, the
Pucchun lagoons, the thousand leaves hill, the little
beaches circuit and the Inca viewpoint.
Do not forget the boulevard in the center of the city and
go shopping to try their traditional alfajores and bollos.
