Providing a convenient and stable environment for chickens to live and grow
is one of the most necessary things to do as a poultry raiser. Checking the water
source, adequate lighting and a safe indoor place must be prioritized.
Regular maintenance of poultry farm will give a guarantee that the flock will
perform to its maximum potential.

f) Broom – used for sweeping out dirt and dry materials on
the floor.
g) Hammer – is designed tools for driving nails, brads, and
other materials like drywall or plywood.
h) Wire cutter – this will help to make fences get back in its
original shape.

a) Cage – a house for a chicken that provides them a better
place to live in. Make sure that it is free from rust and is not
corroded.
b) Feeding Machine – a bigger help for the farmer to feed the
chicken uniformly. The more should be check regularly.
c) Decontamination Machine – generally used for cleaning
equipment in a poultry house. Check the motor, conveyor
belt, and chain if can operate well.
d) Trick or Treat Machine – a machine for quail egg that
prevents the egg from breakage. Always check the
eggbeater, gripper, and chain to avoid malfunction.
e) Lighting fixture – used to control lighting for chickens helps
them to grow healthy especially during egg-laying and
regulate the day length. Maintaining temperature means
better eggs to produce and a better environment for them.
f) Chicken coop – a safe area for chickens especially in
laying their eggs from predators and weather. The place
must maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene for the
safety of chickens from diseases and illness.
g) Fencing – protect livestock and or poultry from predators.
Make sure that it is not easily destroyed.
h) Litter floor – works in absorbing moisture diluted fecal and
cushion for birds and floor. It requires more attention
maintaining in bedding materials such as shaving, rice
hulls, manure, and feathers.
i) Ventilating Machine – always check the fan motor and
thermal relay to avoid motor damage.
j) Perches – an area where chicken take a rest. This should
be strong enough to hold the chicken while they are
resting.
k) Heating System – the furnace body, furnace smoke pipe,
motor, and furnace plate should be clean on time.
l) Refrigeration system – always clean the curtain paper and
make sure the water is clean. The water supply pipeline
and humidification must unblock, repair the pump
immediately if damage.
m) Water Supply System – check the system once a week and
make sure the water line is clean.
n) Laying Nest – laying eggs of the poultry birds.
