1. What is your objective for the students? Be specific
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
✓ apply proper subject-verb agreement through an oral storytelling

2. What specific error(s) will you focus on?

In an activity, it is a given that a student will commit a lot of errors. However, I will just
focus on the objective given so that the topic will be emphasized. Other errors noticed
during the activity, aside from what is focused in the objective, will be ignored or will be
focused on other topics.

3. What error correction technique will you use? In which circumstance? Why?
The error correction that I would use would be recasts, explicit correction, and
metalinguistic feedback. If a student commits an error during the activity, I will directly
correct the student through recasts and explicit correction. This way, the student will
retain knowledge immediately and will be able to respond to the correction directly. If the
student will still keep on making errors, I will try to use metalinguistic feedback after the
activity and let the student redo his/her performance with all the corrections given in
mind. The corrections given during the activity may embarrass the student but
sometimes, direct correction is important to retain knowledge of errors committed. A
feedback is also very important to let students be motivated, guided, and not embarrassed
in front of their classmates.

4. What will you do if there is no uptake?

If ever there is no uptake done, the teacher may write down the errors committed by the
student as well the corrections. This way, the student can study the lesson well by just
reading and comprehending the corrections written on paper.
