J.1 HOW WATER WILL BE USED

The primary source of water is a Spring within the property. The water will then be used as a
Primary Supply and source for the resort in its three swimming pools and other facility that may
require the use of water such as showers, water closet and faucet and among others.
J.2 AMOUNT OF WATER NEEDED

For the Three pool

Pool 1 Adult --------------------------------------------------- 215 cu.m

Pool 2 Main -------------------------------------------------- 624 cu.m
Pool 3 Kiddie -------------------------------------------------- 108 cu.m
Others (shower, faucet, toilets) -------------------------------- 150 cu.m

TOTAL WATER TO BE USED (PROJECTED) -------------- 1097 CU.M

J.5 MEASURES TO BE TAKEN TO AVOID WATER POLLUTION

Main source of contamination in swimming pools are the swimmers. Therefore, it is important to create rules and policy
to help minimize the contamination on the pool which will affect the water quality.
1.) Install pool safety fences and covers to limit pool access.
2.) Stress proper pool behavior and limit horseplay.
3.) Keep the pool water properly filtered and chemically treated at all times. This is done by using chlorination process.
4.) Refrain from using a pool if you are sick or have an open wound.
5.) Do not allow children wearing diapers to use the pool unless they are wearing swim diapers.
The chemicals used to keep pools clean and safe can be dangerously toxic in high amounts. Chlorine, for example, can
dry and irritate skin as well as aggravate asthma. These chemicals can also kill the body's naturally beneficial bacteria if
water is swallowed, potentially causing digestive problems and lowered immunity. To avoid the chemical contamination
dangers of swimming pools:
Keep chemical treatments at the proper level.
Do not increase chemical treatments to compensate for a dirty pool.
Follow instructions carefully when treating a pool.
Keep pool chemicals properly stored and out of reach of children to avoid accidental poisonings.
Store chemicals in a cool, dry place to avoid landscape contamination or risk of fire.

Do not drink alcohol when swimming because it can impair the ability to judge distances as well as the physical
coordination necessary to swim.
Do not swim for at least 30 minutes after consuming a heavy meal.
Do not use glass containers or sharp utensils in the pool area.
Keep food out of the pool to avoid overtaxing the filtration system.

With this localize policy it will help prevent contamination in the water and after it will be discharge to the environment
it will be treated first on a separate chamber that will remove or reduce the toxic level of chlorine and other chemical
that were used to treat the water.

J.7 AREA OF WATER SURFACE NEEDED TO BE SERVED

Total Area = 576 sq. M

OATH OF UNDERTAKING

Emmanuel’s Spring is committed to the preservation and conservation of nature and its resources. We acknowledge
and do hereby abide in all rules and regulation on how to deal properly deal and dispose our water discharge or effluent
on the safest and cleanest manner.
Since, water is our primary source of waste wherein it contains a high amount of chlorine, we cannot simply just have it
discharge on any public sewer, drainage, canal or what so ever, without undergoing water treatment.
First, will be the dechlorinization process will be introduced to which the water from the pool will under go as shown in
the diagram. It will service 60% of the water discharge coming from the pool and the remaining 40% will be treated on

the lagoon basin to which Chlorine Neutralizer we will be added which is eco-friendly. Such lagoon or basin that we
will constructed for storage of water discharge facility before all other water will be release.
