Script for August 12, 2020 – Prayer Time

Ask anything according to God’s will.

NATION

- Pray for our fellow countrymen to yearn for strength and solace, and to have faith
through devoting deeper into God’s truth and love amidst the crisis.
- Pray that may each individual abide by the rules and regulations adhered to them
by their respective barangay officials, and a heart for them to submit to
authorities in accordance to God’s will.
- Pray for our leaders (the cabinet, government officials, our President Rodrigo
Duterte, etc.) to come up with the right decisions and solutions to conquer the
ongoing pandemic. Pray that their hearts would draw closer to God and that they
may not allow any law that contradicts the Word of God.
- Pray for the safety and well-being of our front liners, health workers, and
volunteers as they risk going outside of their homes just to help serve the
country.
- Pray for the financial stability and economy of our country—claim the provision
that God will pour out so that there may be enough budget to aid the nation.
- Pray for the wisdom and strength of the pharmacists and medical experts, that
they may be able to come up with a vaccine to help combat COVID-19.
- Pray for peace, restoration, and justice to reign on every brethren—for every
heart to have strength and joy amidst the chaos.

FAMILY

- Pray that may every family stand firm in their faith and look to Jesus as their
refuge and strength in difficult times like these.
- Pray that may God be the center of every family—touching each of their hearts
and leading them into an all-out worship and surrender.
- Pray for restoration for every broken family.
- Pray for provision for those families who are homeless and those who have
nothing to eat. May God be their source of strength so that they may lack
nothing.

CHURCH

- Pray for the churches all over the nation to remain faithful as one body in Christ,
and may each heart always obey His commandments no matter what.
- Pray for the pastors to keep preaching truth in love, clinging to what is good and
shunning whatever is evil. Pray for their strength and well-being, along with their
families.
- Pray for the church leaders and every ministry to pray immensely through
soaking in God’s presence all the more and through taking the initiative to fast.
- Pray for Christians to stand firm in the faith and become a salt and light in this
world full of chaos and hatred. Pray that may every believer of Christ grab the
opportunity to share the good news to those who have not yet accepted Jesus in
their hearts.

Yield yourself wholeheartedly to God who speaks to you through the power of the
Word and the Spirit.

- Pray for your own physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth and well-
being. Pray for the Lord to continuously mold your heart into the person He wants
you to be.
- Pray that may the Lord keep you away from anything that may hinder you from
experiencing Him. Pray that may the Holy Spirit give you the strength to flee from
temptation and turn away from any type of wrongdoing.
- Pray for a heart that chooses prayer over panic, worship over worry, and faith
over fear.

Caption: Remember that prayer is not a one-way communication, but rather a two-way
interactive conversation and fellowship with the Lord. We speak to Him, and we also
take time to listen and let Him speak to us. At this time of crisis, prayer is the best
weapon we could use to combat any virus. When we pray and worship in splendor,
nothing could ever stand against.

Join us today through prayer that we may call upon the Lord.
